Can't codesign gdb per instructions

Just updated my iMac after a move from 10.6.8 to 10.11.3.

Then installed the latest nightly build of Lazarus, which seemed to went fine, but when I try and follow the instructions to codesign the debugger, I get stuck:

error: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/codesign_allocate: can't create output file: /opt/local/bin/ggdb.cstemp (Permission denied)
/opt/local/bin/ggdb: the codesign_allocate helper tool cannot be found or used

Any useful hints?
