Have you folks considered creating a PortableApps version of Lazarus? If nothing else it might bring Lazarus to an audience that may not have known about it.

tnx.

I'd love to have portable app support, but kind of have my hands full at the moment. I did manage to build a simple Android OpenGL app with FPC and Lazarus, but in the end I believe we need a better Library and build system.

Hopefully the someone in community will chip in and we can bring them into our get Lazarus initiative to start integrating mobile development support into our current download package.

PortableApps doesn't have anything to do with Android. :)

Check out http://www.portableapps.com - it's about running software from a thumbdrive or other portable resource.

creating a PortableApps version of Lazarus?

There are tools http://carlcheo.com/portable-app-creators to do this by oneself,
though I haven't try any of them.

At other hand, is it possible to build a portable app by Lazarus ? (This is not a request)
